These Terms govern your use of the Dhathu Platform operated by Dhathu Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. By creating an account or using the Platform, you accept these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, an Indian resident, and capable of entering a legally binding contract. Completing KYC (PAN and Aadhaar verification) is mandatory before transacting.
2. The service
Dhathu enables you to buy, hold, and sell digital gold and silver, set up AutoPay, pursue savings goals, and order physical coins. Your digital gold and silver are backed by physical metal stored and insured by MMTC-PAMP. Dhathu deals only in gold and silver.
3. Pricing, GST & taxes
Purchases and sales occur at live prices sourced from MMTC-PAMP. A 3% GST applies to gold and silver purchases. TDS and capital-gains tax may apply on sales as per Income Tax law. You are responsible for your own tax obligations; any reports we provide are for convenience and are not tax advice.
4. AutoPay mandates
By enabling AutoPay, you authorise recurring UPI debits via Razorpay according to the amount and frequency you set. You may pause or cancel a mandate at any time; cancellations take effect for future debits.
5. Physical coins
Coin orders are subject to making charges, delivery charges, minimum-weight eligibility, and availability, all shown before you confirm. Delivery is governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
6. Risk acknowledgement
Prices of gold and silver fluctuate with the market. The value of your holdings can go up or down. Dhathu does not provide investment advice and does not guarantee any return. See our Risk Disclosure.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Platform for unlawful purposes, money laundering, or fraud.
- Do not provide false KYC information or use another person's identity or payment instruments.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Platform.
8. Intellectual property
The Dhathu name, logo, content, and software are owned by Dhathu Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its licensors. You may not copy or use them without permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dhathu is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from market price movements, third-party partner outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, fail KYC, or are flagged for suspicious activity, subject to applicable law and your right to grievance redressal.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
